วัตถุประสงค์
The overall objective of the proposed project is to review and synthesize studies on people’s perception of air pollution and respective behavioral response.
ประโยชน์ที่คาดว่าจะได้รับ
The major benefit of the research project is expected to be the provision of an improved understanding of citizens’ perceptions and behaviors regarding ambient air pollution. The
analysis of the determinants of people’s perceptions and behaviors will add lessons on how policy interventions can be better targeted at specific groups of the population.
In terms of academic output, we expect three scientific articles to be published in international, peer-reviewed academic journals and presentations at recognized international or national conferences. The development of interventions to reduce the exposure of urban residents to ambient air pollution is currently a dynamic topic in many countries across the world with paramount relevance for public health. Thus, the proposed research will be of interest to a growing global community of researchers working at the interface of air pollution and population health.
